Elizabeth Washington entered into eternal rest on Monday, July 7, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 2, 1934, in St. Matthews, South Carolina, to the late Otis and Lily Bell Glover.
She moved to New York at a young age and dedicated nearly three decades of her professional life to the Loral Corporation. She returned to South Carolina in 1992 and was a faithful member of the Rock Hill Bible Fellowship Church for nearly 30 years.
In addition to her parents, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, James Earl Washington; her brothers, Otis Glover Jr., Curly Lee Glover, and Steven Glover; and her sister, Patricia Glover.
She is survived by two devoted sons: Martin (Portia) Fauntleroy and Douglas (Linda) Fauntleroy; six grandchildren: Demetrius, Jadrien, Davone, Amanda, Kevin, Meghan, Caleb; eight great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
