Elizabeth Brackett Strait

Rock Hill - Elizabeth Brackett Strait, 72, of 830 Patton Road, died Friday, January 7, 2011, at her home.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 13, 2011, at Whitesell Funeral Home.

A native of Rock Hill, Mrs. Strait was a daughter of the late George B. Brackett and Juanita Davis Brackett. She was a member of College Park Baptist church. She was a former President of the York Company Dystonia Foundation and a former Durham, NC police officer. She was also a homemaker.

Surviving are three sons, Roger Fisk, Bynum Rayfield and Eddie Strait; a Eddie Strait; four daughters, Debra Mulhollen, Cindy Brown, Brenda DeMarco and Bennie Clawson; two sisters, Norma Maglione and Doris Hughes; 13 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and 7 great great-grandchildren.

The family will recieve friends 6 - 8 p.m., Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Whitesell Funeral Home
