Elizabeth Diann Benson, known to family and friends as Diann, passed away on June 13, 2026, in Indian Trail, North Carolina, while in the care of her daughter, Tammy. Raised in Mobile, Alabama, Diann was preceded in death by her husband of 21 years, Gary Wayne Benson.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Tammy Williams and Mary Benson (Will); her sons, Adam Benson (Sharon) and Michael Benson (Kelly); six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. on June 17, 2026, at Bass Cauthen Funeral Home, 700 Heckle Boulevard, Rock Hill, South Carolina.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on June 18, 2026, at Bass Cauthen Funeral Home, with burial to follow.
