Duane Miller

Duane Miller (Wilson Duane Miller) was born on June 12, 1952 in South Charleston, West Virginia. He passed away, peacefully, at home in Fort Mill SC, on April 24, 2025. Duane was predeceased by his parents, James Henry Miller and Helen Mae (Thacker) Miller, and by his brother, Steven James Miller.

Duane attended Hurricane (WV) High School. After graduating, he completed courses in welding, and worked as a welder. Changing direction, the next steps he took led him to his career in logistics. He worked in logistics in the health industry until he retired. Duane liked to golf and was pretty good at shooting pool. He loved animals and especially his family’s cats and dogs. Duane’s biggest pride and joy was his family.

Duane is survived by his wife, children, nephew and niece. He and his wife, Jolene Ward, were together for almost 40 years. Their daughter Brittany Lian Miller and son RJ Miller, live in Fort Mill SC. His nephew Jason Miller and his wife Krissy, as well as his niece Taylor Miller, live in Texas.
