Dorothy "Dotty" Henry Floyd

Fort Mill, SC – Mrs. Dorothy (Dotty) Henry Floyd, 84, died Sunday, December 24, 2023, at Wellmore of Tega Cay.

The family will receive friends 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm, Saturday, December 30, 2023, at Carolina Cornerstone Church in Tega Cay, SC.

A native of Columbia, SC Mrs. Floyd was the daughter of the late William H Henry and Elizabeth Lucas Henry. She ran a Bridge Club for many years at Fort Mill Golf Club.  She will be remembered as a lady with a green thumb who loved gardening.  She was an avid Clemson Football fan. Go Tigers!

Surviving are her son, Charles A Floyd, Jr and his wife, Beverly; two granddaughters, Rachel Castejón and Kristin Fulghum; a great grandson, Montgomery Fulghum; two son-in-laws, Alfonso Castejón and Kevin Fulghum.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A Floyd, Sr. and a daughter, Melanie Floyd.

Dotty will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.  May her soul rest in peace.
