Dorothy Haggart (née Forbes) passed away peacefully in South Carolina on April 23, 2026 at the age of 93. She was born on April 16, 1933, in Aberdeen, Scotland.

Dorothy “Granny” was proudly devoted to her family as mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose love and strength is remembered by all. She is survived by her four children, fourteen grandchildren, and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.

She will be remembered for her lifelong faith, her devotion to her family and friends, her pride in her Scottish roots, and her quiet kindness.

A celebration of her life will be held in South Carolina on 1st May. She will later be laid to rest in Moray, Scotland, beside her beloved husband, William “Bill” Haggart.

Dorothy’s legacy lives on in the family she cherished and the lives she touched.
