Donna Marie Dewindt Ekers

Charlotte - Donna Marie De Windt Ekers, 43, of 1211 Helms Road, died Thursday, February 23, 2012, at Presbyterian Hospital.

Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Mountain Island Ward, Huntersville, N.C.. Burial will be in the Oaklawn Cemetery of Charlotte.

The family will receive friends Monday, 6-8 PM, at the church.

Born in Hawkinsville, Ga., she is the daughter of Victor and Carla Robinson DeWindt. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Mount Island Ward, Huntersville, N.C..

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Jeffery Dewayne Ekers; two sons, John Thomas DeWindt and Steven Tyler DeWindt; one daughter, Ashley Nicole Stewart; two brothers, Victor DeWindt and William DeWindt; and one sister, Heather Anne DeWindt.
