Indian Land, SC - Mr. Donald “Bud” Thomas Beaty, 79, died Monday, April 29, 2026, at White Oak Manor, Lancaster, SC.

A native of Chester, Mr. Beaty was a son of the late Bernard Alexander Beaty and Anne Hartin Minter Beaty. Mr. Beaty enjoyed listening to rock music and some of his favorite bands were AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin, and ZZ Top to name a few. He loved riding and helping with his sister’s horses.

He is survived by two sisters, Jayne Shelley (Dale) and Susan B Newell (Kirby); and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Ann Kimbrell.

There will be a celebration of life held at a later date.
