Diana (Mom), a beloved child of God, passed away at Hospice and Community Care in Rock Hill, SC on March 21st , 2026, with her son Chris by her side.
Mom lived a life of service in her Church, in her work, and with her family.
She was always positive and saying, “my glass is more than half full.” Her faith was strong and she knew God had a plan for her life.
Mom loved spending time with her friends, especially shopping or going out to eat. Whether it was the Church, Supper Club, or work colleagues, all would say how beautiful mom was both inside and out.
She made Tega Cay, SC home for 50 years, and we all feel the positive impact she made to our community, every day.
Mom was born in Lenoir, NC on September 10th , 1948, to Paul Edward Smith and Catherine Freeman Smith.
She is survived by her son, Christopher Robert Greene; her brother, Paul Edward Smith Jr. (Denise); her nephews, Dustin Paul Smith (Abbi), Dana Edward Smith (Laura Jill); and niece, Emma Catherine Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Edward Smith and Catherine Freeman Smith; her husband, Robert Shuford Greene; her 2nd husband, William Thomas Vick, Sr.; her brother, Gary Erwin Smith; and her great nephew, Clarke Harmon Smith.

Special thanks to Piedmont Medical Center, Atrium Levine Cancer Center, and Hospice and Community Care for showing the support and compassion needed to help us through this journey.
Very special thanks to the army of friends that helped mom to her appointments, and showed a genuine love for her well being.
