Dennis Gerald McCammon

Dennis G. McCammon, 73, passed away on February 1, 2025, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill. 

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Alliance, Ohio. 

A native of Alliance, Ohio, Mr. McCammon was the son of the late Gerald and Lois (Polen) McCammon. He was a retired Alliance City Police Officer. He was an avid golfer and competition shooter where he participated in Ohio Police and Fire Games and also many local and national police and NRA matches. He was a former member of Christ United Methodist Church in Alliance, OH. 

Surviving are his wife of 51 years, Marilyn Sue (Middlemus) McCammon; son, David Gerald McCammon (Alexia) of Brook Park, OH; daughter, Jennifer Lynn Frank of Canton, OH; grandson, Aidan Connor Frank; and two granddaughters, Georgia McCammon and Anastacia McCammon. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Jody Eller.
