Dennis Leroy Bryson

Rock Hill – Mr. Dennis LeRoy Bryson, 86, of 1763 Old Friendship Road, died Sunday, April 4, 2021, at Piedmont Medical Center.

The family will receive friends 6 – 8 pm Tuesday, April 6, 2021, at Whitesell Funeral Home.

A native of Flats Township, NC., Mr. Bryson was a son of the late Arthur Decke Bryson and Loma Vinson Bryson.  He was a retired custodiam and a past employee of J. P. Steven. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  He enjoyed going to auctions, flea Markets, and he was an avid fisherman.  He loved going to the mountains and adored his family.

Surviving are his wife, Mahovie Sanders Bryson; a son, Kevin Bryson; a brother, Fred Bryson; a sister, Doris B. Tallent; 30 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet B. Mosley.

A graveside service will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at the Catawba Ward Church Cemetery.
