Democritos "Dean" Zampetopoulos

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dean Zampetopoulos. He entered eternal rest on February 2, 2026 surrounded by his family. Dean was born on January 25, 1969 in Toronto, Canada. He spent most of his life in upstate New York where he began his career as a successful entrepreneur. Dean lived an active and healthy lifestyle. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Andrea Zampetopoulos, his two children Nikolaus and Isabella, and his parents Nickolaos and Athanasia Zampetopoulos.

Dean was a devoted husband and father. He cared deeply about his children and would do anything to support them. He was extremely intelligent and was the best handy man around. He knew how to fix absolutely anything and everything. He was willing to help anyone that needed it. Dean loved animals and would help any animal in need, without a second thought. He loved cars, the stock market, and taking long walks with our dog Mylo. Dean was a sweet and gentle man and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially his family.

Services for Dean will be Saturday, February 7, 2026 at St. Nektarios Greek Orthodox Church, 5108 Kuykendall Road, Charlotte, NC 28270. Viewing will be from 10:00-11:00 at St. Nektarios and the church service will be from 11:00-11:30. Directly following the church service there will be a service at Forest Hills Cemetery, 4290 Old York Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
