David Wayne Ayers

Fort Mill - Mr. David Wayne Ayers, 69, died Friday, July 7, 2017, at his home.

Graveside services will be private. The family will receive friends 6 p.m. Monday at Carolinas Cornerstone and a memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. with Revs Roger Brown and Barry Yates officiating.

A native of Lancaster, Mr. Ayers was a son of the late Bobby and Thelma Smith Ayers.

Surviving are his wife, Iris Hill Ayers; a son, Jeffrey W. Ayers (Sandi); a daughter, Karen Michelle Privette (Glenn); three brothers, Robert L Ayers (Shirley), Michael Ayers (Cindy), and Richard Ayers; three sisters, Nancy McCall (Ambrose), Marry Ann Knight (Gary), and Susan Pigford (Mike); two grandchildren, Zack Privette and Courtney Ayers; and also dear to his heart was Lyndsey Pippin (Georgie); and little Georgie.
