Cleo Hambright

York - Mrs. Cleo Agnes Mullinax Hambright "Nanny", 94, formally of Fort Mill, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, at White Oak Manor - York.

Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Sunday May 19, 2013, at York Church of God, 201 Charlotte St, York, SC. Burial will be private.

A native of Gaffney, SC Mrs. Hambright was a daughter of the late Clarence Edward Mullinax and Abby Sue Mullinax. She was a member of the Fort Mill Church of God but in resent years attended the York Church of God. She worked for many years as a weaver with Springs Industries. She served as a midwife. She was a living testimony for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was the widow of Fred Anderson Hambright.

Surviving are her son, Fred Arthur Hambright (Jenny); two daughters, Naomi Sloan (Jim) and Phyllis Crandall (Tom); a sister, Aileene Elmore; 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Myrtle Thompson and Marie Osment.
