Christine Alford Davis
October 19, 1937 — April 15, 2014
Rock Hill – Mrs. Christine Alford Davis, 76, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at Piedmont Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday at Calvary Baptist Church. The family will receive friends 1 PM Friday at the church.
Born in Wake County, NC Mrs. Davis was a daughter of the late Sam and Sally Alford. She was the widow of Jones Davis.
Surviving are two daughters, Sybil Ide and Lisa Sturges; two sisters, Ellen Bostick and Lila Taylor; two grandchildren, Amanda Ramsey and Matthew Vick; and a great-granddaughter, Lizzie Ramsey. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Piner and Mildred Pierce and a granddaughter, Hope Davis.
Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
