Chester Lee Nieland, M.D.

Rock Hill, South Carolina - Dr. Chester Lee Nieland, M.D. 55, died Monday, December 29, 2014.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in Florida.

Growing up on Singer Island, FL, Dr. Nieland was a son of Lee Nieland and Juliette Dumenes Nieland. As a surgeon, he was known for his steady hand and his quick wit. As a father and friend, he will be remembered as loving and selfless.

Surviving are his daughters, Whitney Nieland, and Bridget Merchant; and a brother, Jack Nieland.
