Cheryl Sue Caskey

Cheryl Sue Caskey passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Atrium Health in Pineville. Cheryl was born on September 14, 1945, to the late Luther Samuel Horne and Nannie Glenn Horne. She retired from the Fort Mill District as a parking lot attendant and is remembered by the students of the Fort Mill High School Marching Band for being in charge of the band uniforms. She is a member of Sisk Memorial Baptist Church. Cheryl is survived by her husband of 47 years, Steve "Wormy" Caskey her daughters: Melody Jenkins and April Carver, her sons: Travis Caskey, Tyler Caskey "Katie", six grandchildren: Devon Carver, Emma Medvec, Jakob Caskey, Carson Caskey, Kadyn Caskey, Si Caskey, two great grandchildren Linkin and Peyton Carver, and sister Barabra Horn. She was preceded in death by her brothers Dempsey Horne, Samuel Horne, Edward Horn, Bob Horn, Torrence "Terry" Horn, George Horn, and sisters Elsie "Coot" Williamson and Elizabeth "Sis" Stillwell. The visitation will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Sisk Memorial Baptist Church at noon and will be immediately followed by the Memorial service at 1 PM.
