Charles Moran

Catawba- Charles Sherman Moran, 52, of 766 Will Jones Circle, died Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at Carolina's Medical Center.

Memorial services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Oakdale Baptist Church, with Mike Welch officiating.

Born in War Eagle, West Virginia, Charles was a retired professional truck driver. He was a proud husband, father, grandfather and American. He loved the outdoors and was a very caring and giving man. Charles will be remembered and loved forever by everyone who knew him.

His legacy will be carried on by his wife, Rosa D. Stacy; two sons Shawn Moran and wife Holly, and Greg Moran; grandmother, Myrtle Evans; two brothers, Scott Moran and wife Tammy, Tommy Bray and wife Yung, and James Hurley; one sister, Cynthia Feuerstein and husband Chris; four grandchildren, Austin, Alyssa, Gabriel and Andrew; extended family, Roger and Cheri Ayers, Chad and Reba Foster, Brenden and Jamie Sawyer, Raymond Foster; and the Young and the Gaffney families.
