It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Buster Ray Cauthen, who passed away on November 15th, 2025, in Rock Hill, SC, at the age of 36.
Buster was born on October 24th, 1989, in Pineville, NC.
Buster was a proud member of the Catawba Nation. He attended Greenville Tech and got his Associate's Degree in Auto Body and Collision Repair.
Buster was always the life of the party and wanted to laugh. Buster enjoyed spending his time watching the Carolina Gamecocks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and NASCAR racing. Buster also enjoyed watching movies and quoting movie lines. He loved to cruise around town in his 5.0 Mustang and was proud of his cars.
Buster is survived by his father Ray Cauthen, mother Angela Harris & Brian Varnadore, grandmother Sue (Ken) Collins, sisters Kandis (Justin) Faile, Cheyenne Cauthen & Chase Cooper, Sierra Cauthen & Taylor Smith. His uncles Ron Harris, Donnie Harris, Randy (Carol) Cauthen. His nieces and nephews; Aria Faile, Easton Faile, Claire Cooper, and Tatum Faile. His cousins, whom he loved like brothers, Donnie Ray Harris & Cole Walters, and many more beloved cousins/family members.
Buster is preceded in death by his Paternal grandparents Boyce & Arlene Cauthen; Maternal grandparent, Martin Harris.
A gathering to celebrate the life of Buster will be held on Saturday, November 22nd, from 12 to 2 PM at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home at 700 Heckle Blvd, Rock Hill, SC 29730.
