Billy James Perdue, Sr.

Rock Hill, SC - Mr. Billy James Perdue, Sr., 49, of 1133 Standard Street, died Thursday, September 29, 2011, at his home.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 3, 2011, at Whitesell Funeral Home with the Rev. Roland L. Dry, Sr. officiating.

Born August 29, 1962, Mr. Perdue was a son of Marie Coleman Perdue and the late Arthur Benjamin Perdue. He was a member of Inspiration Baptist Church. He worked as a fork lift operator most of his working career. He loved playing card games, pitching horseshoes, shooting pool and fishing.

Surviving are his wife, Mary George Perdue; two sons, Billy James Perdue, Jr. and Benjamin McClure Perdue; one daughter, Elizabeth Blair Perdue; two brothers, William Benjamin Perdue and Tommy Eugene Perdue; one sister, Debra Perdue Ngo and her husband, Hieu; and 7 grandchildren; and 3 nieces and nephews.
