Billie Jo Vanzant Hansen

ROCK HILL - Billie Jo "BJ" Hansen Born Aug. 6, 1972 taken from us July 12, 2009 in a tragic motorcycle accident to be with our angels.

A single Mom with a zest for life with 3 beautiful children, Katrina (15), Aleasha (13) and Isaac (9). Born to Joyce Hancock and William Medlin, later adopted by Dutch VanZant. Baby sister of Monty, Tonda, Robin, Jesse, Christine & Troy, Jodie and Jozet. An Aunt of 7 nieces, 4 nephews. A wonderful great Aunt to 4 nieces & 8 nephews. She is a sister to many of the Catawba Indian Nation Traditionalists & Rolling Thunder.

Our Mom, daughter, baby sister, Aunt & friend, BJ, has joined the previous angels of her life including Grandparents, nephew, and many special friends.
A celebration of her life will be on Saturday July 18, 2009, 11:00 am. Location will be at the Catawba Indian Reservation Longhouse. (996 Avenue of the Nations). Burial will follow at the Catawba Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a fund has been set up for the children at Founders Credit Union listed under Aleasha Hansen.
