Betty Irene Dunn Sexton

Rock Hill, SC - Mrs. Betty Irene Sexton, 73, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, with her family by her side.

She was born on August 1, 1952, in Rock Hill, SC a was a daughter of the late Clarence and Cleo Dunn.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Sexton was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Sexton; sisters, Minnie Lou Brown, Margaret Fudge Sue Carnes, and Beck Hinson; brothers, Carl Dunn, Herbie Dunn, Donnie Dunn, and Phillip Dunn.

Most important to her was her faith, family and always taking care of others any way she could. She was a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She never met a stranger and loved everyone. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, being with her family and friends, as well as reading her Bible.

She leaves behind her children, Angela Murphy (Dave) Mark Sexton, Dustin Sexton, and Justin Blue; grandchildren, Tyler Sexton and Whitney Long; and her nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends, Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Whitesell Funeral Home from 2:00 - 4:00 pm.

The family would like to thank the hospice nurses and doctors, family and friends for their love and support.
