Betty Faris Powell

Rock Hill - Mrs. Betty Faris (Hawkins) Powell, 88, died Monday, September 18, 2017, at Piedmont Medical Center.

Memorial services will be 1 - 4 p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2017, at the home of Frances Hawkins, 371 Hickory Oaks Lane, Rock Hill, SC 29730.

Surviving are one son, Adolphus Hawkins, Jr (known as Van Hawkins); three daughters, Frances Hawkins, Deborah Hawkins, and Linda Jane Hawkins; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Faris; her mother, Fanny Lee Faris; a son, Johnny T. Hawkins.
