ROCK HILL- Bertha George Harris, 101, of 503 Charrow Town Drive, died
Tuesday, October 14, 2014, at UniHealth PAC of Rock Hill.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints,Catawba Ward, with Bishop Bob Trimnal Conducting. Burial will be at Grandview Memorial, Cherry Road. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at Whitesell Funeral Home.

A native of Rock Hill, Mrs. Harris was a daughter of the late Moroni James George and Hattie Milling George. She was a Master Potter and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.

Surviving are two sons, Paul Harris of Tennessee, and Mitchell Harris of Rock Hill; three daughters, Rosa H. Humphries and Sharon Adkins both of York and Violet Wilson of Edgemoor; and a sister, Margaret Smith of Spartanburg. She was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years George Furman Harris; her daughter Lorraine Griggs and her son Homer Harris.
