Bernice Helen Hudson

Bernice Helen Hudson (Ludeman) of Fort Mill, SC was born on June 21st, 1940 to Marion and Edward Ludeman in Chicago, Illinois, and departed for her heavenly journey on August 16th, 2025.

Bernice had immense love for her family and friends and she cherished every single second she was able to spend with them. Her greatest joy was her 19 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. Bernice is preceded in death by her husband, Koser Dean Hudson, her daughters Jennifer Pursell and Janice Silber, her son Keith Hudson, her brother Richard Ludeman, and her sister Marianne Wright.

Please join her children, Jimmy Rogers, Jr. and wife Julie, David Hudson and wife Pamela, Joe Rogers and fiancé Teresa Hill, Alisa Quiett and husband Paul, Tamara Hudson and Tracy Hudson, and her sisters Diane Wagnon, Robin Queenan, Beth Pence, Denise Henderson and her sister in Christ and forever best friend Claire (Cookie) Hiratsuka, in celebrating her spectacular life at Grace Community Church, 1190 Gold Hill Road, Fort Mill, SC, 29708 on Wednesday, August 20th, at 3:00 p.m.

To celebrate this life fully, and to lay Bernice to rest with her beloved husband, additional services will take place in Niobrara, Nebraska on Saturday, August 30th at 1:00 p.m. at the Niobrara Presbyterian Church, 2533 Apple Street, Niobrara, Nebraska, 68760 with internment to follow at Riverview Cemetery.
