Anil Sombhai Patel

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Anil Sombhai Patel, beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, on January 21, 1971, Anil built a beautiful life centered on love, generosity, and community until his passing on October 2, 2025, at the age of 54.

Anil came to the United States in 1994 with hope and determination. Starting from scratch, he created not only a life for his family but also a community where everyone felt welcome. He was the kind of person who never said no. Whether it was driving across the state to bring someone their favorite food or showing up in a time of need, Anil always put others before himself. His heart was boundless, his soul was kind, and his love knew no limits.

Anil is survived by his loving wife Rajeshwari, his sons Ajey and Sujay, his parents Kantaben and Sombhai, his brother Alpesh and sister-in-law Jigisha, his niece Amy, nephew Yug, his uncle Rajni, aunt Sumitra, and brother-in-law Jaykant, along with countless extended family and friends who will carry his memory forever.

To know Anil was to know true generosity, unwavering kindness, and unconditional love. Though our hearts are broken, his legacy lives on in every life he touched.

Rest peacefully, Anil. You will always be remembered, cherished, and loved.
