John Alan Robinson, "Al", 66, of Rock Hill, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Piedmont Medical Center. He was born April 27, 1953 in Rock Hill, SC, son of the late William Deaver Robinson and Marjorie Elise Stroud.
Al was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed time spent woodworking, was a hobby farmer and was an artist in his younger days. He also worked in maintenance with Rock Hill Country Club.
He is survived by his sister, Robin E. Bailey of Rock Hill; brother, Dean Cornett and wife, Jo Ellen of Rock Hill; nieces, Ashley and Casey; nephew, Bill; great-nephew, Keston; and girlfriend, Sybil Morgan of Rock Hill.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 12 at Oakdale Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home to help assist with funeral expenses in person, by phone at: 803.329.4141 or by mail via check to: 700 Heckle Boulevard, Rock Hill, SC 29730 (designated "Al Robinson" in memo line).
